What our customers say

★★★★★

Amazing from start to finish!

We had an absolutely fantastic beer tasting experience with Doctor Beer in Brussels. It was just me, my dad, and my sister on the tour, and he really tailored everything to us. We got to enjoy a great mix of beer tasting and a guided tour, tried Belgian beers carefully selected for our tastes, and even received personal recommendations for other Belgian beers we should try — and he was completely spot-on with every single one. On top of that, he gave us excellent restaurant tips that made the rest of our trip even better. Doctor Beer is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. Highly recommended!

★★★★★

A memorable and unique experience

My dad and I had a private beer tasting experience with Doctor Beer back in February on our last evening in Brussels, and it was such a memorable and unique experience. We had a lot of fun, learnt a lot, and Dimitri himself was such an interesting and charismatic guy to spend an evening in a Belgian bar with! He also took the time the next day to help us with our selection of beers to take home as gifts.

Frequently asked

Everything you need to know

What makes these Belgian beers "exceptional"?
Every bottle in our cellar is rare, limited, or curated for collectors. You'll find oak-aged Trappists from Chimay and Rochefort, aged lambics from Cantillon and Boon, barrel-aged collaborations, and once-only releases. These aren't beers you'll find in a Brussels supermarket — they're the bottles that beer sommeliers seek out for special occasions.
How do you select your beers?
Doctor Beer is a certified Belgian beer sommelier based in central Brussels. Every beer in this catalog has been personally tasted, selected, and rated. We focus on rarity, provenance (Trappist abbeys, traditional lambic houses), and cellaring potential. If a beer doesn't earn its place in our cellar, it doesn't make the catalog.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship across Belgium, the EU, and worldwide. Shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your destination. Beers are professionally packaged with protective inserts to ensure they arrive in perfect condition, with controlled-temperature storage right up until dispatch.
How long can I cellar these beers?
It depends on the style. Vintage Trappist Quadrupels like Rochefort 10 and Chimay Bleue age beautifully for 10 to 20 years. Aged lambics and barrel-aged Cantillons can develop for 10+ years. Lighter blondes and brett beers are best consumed within 1 to 3 years. Each bottle's detail page indicates its optimal cellaring window.
Can I order just one bottle?
Absolutely. Whether you want a single Cantillon Vigneronne to mark a special evening or a full case to build your cellar, we'll ship any quantity. Note that some particularly rare beers have a maximum-per-order limit to ensure fair availability for all collectors.
How do you ensure beer quality during shipping?
All bottles are stored at controlled cellar temperature in our Brussels location and shipped in dedicated beer packaging with custom inserts that protect against breakage and light exposure. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days and delivered to most EU destinations within 3 to 5 days.
Can I gift these beers?
Yes — every order can be sent directly to the recipient with a personal note. We also offer dedicated Belgian Beer Gift Packs and Gift Vouchers for occasions where you want the recipient to choose their own bottles.
Can I taste these beers before buying?
For many of our beers, yes — through our Premium Belgian Beer Tasting experience, which features rare beers from this very catalog. It's the best way to discover which exceptional Belgian beers match your palate before building your own collection.
