Our tour features a certified beer sommelier, three authentic traditional bars (no commercial tourist traps), four premium Belgian craft beers (Trappists, Lambics, Abbey ales, regional rarities — not the usual commercial brands), small intimate groups (2 to 12 people), and personalised stories about UNESCO-recognised Belgian brewing heritage. The route is curated to avoid the crowded spots tourists usually end up in.

The standard tour lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. This gives you enough time to visit three traditional bars, taste four premium Belgian beers without feeling rushed, and discover the stories, history and culture behind Brussels' brewing heritage. Private tours can be tailored to last longer.

The tour starts at Doctor Beer Brussels, Boulevard Anspach, 1000 Bruxelles — three minutes' walk from the Grand-Place and Manneken Pis. Easily accessible by metro (Brussels Central, lines 1 & 5), tram (lines 3 & 4) and bus.

The three bars are all within the historic centre and a comfortable walking distance from each other — roughly 5 to 10 minutes between each stop. The total walking distance is under 1.5 km and the pace is relaxed. Suitable for most fitness levels; please let us know in advance if you have mobility needs and we'll adapt the route.

The tour runs in all weather conditions — the bars are indoor and the walks between them are short. We recommend bringing a light umbrella or rain jacket if rain is forecast. Tours are only cancelled in case of extreme weather, and we'll always offer a free reschedule or full refund.

Tour participants must be 18 or older to taste the beers (Belgian legal drinking age for strong alcohol). Children may join at the discretion of the parent, but won't be served alcoholic beverages — please mention this at booking so we can arrange suitable non-alcoholic options.
