Bourgogne des Flandres
This beautiful beer is a clever mix of a young lambic brewed by Timmermans and a brown beer aged in oak barrels that requires in addition to the work of brewer, the art of cutting.
It is brewed in Bruges in the Burgundy brewery of Flanders and was created in 1911.
It has a red and brown color and a fine foam that fades quite quickly.
The aroma of caramel, roasted malt and red fruit is quite intense and pleasant.
The flavours follow the nose with this little taste of brown sugar in addition.
In the end, it is a well-balanced beer with a powerful aftertaste and quite fresh.
I recommend a goat cheese to accompany it
